Today is the first day of Book Blogger Appreciation Week and the topic of today is…
highlighting bloggers that have made book blogging a unique experience for you…
**DISCLAIMER** While I have mentioned a few bloggers in my post, there are still many unnamed bloggers that I appreciate and enjoy. I just wanted to highlight a few that have made the beginnings of my blogging a little easier and welcoming! ****
I must say, I have met so many wonderful bloggers since I have started blogging just a short time ago. One of the very first bloggers I met was Liz over at Things Liz Loves . She was so friendly and was always willing to answer a lot of my newbie questions. I still enjoy that connection with Liz.
Another wonderful blogger that I have been able to ask any question and often look to her blog for guidance is Mandy over at Well Read Wife. Mandy has been a great mentor and example in the blogging community. She is very diverse and is always willing to respond to my many questions. She is a talented lady and I have really enjoyed her mentoring and hope to meet up with her at a conference in the near future.
My third and final blogger that I just have to give a shout out to is Jen over at I Read Banned Books. I must admit, it was her title that had me trucking over to her site initially. Who doesn’t love a banned book, right? I can’t help but agree with her quote,
“There is nothing like a banned book to turn a teenager into a devoted reader” – Malcolm Jones
Jen also host numerous ARC tours and I have been extremely fortunate to have been able to hop on many of them. Except for the Anna Dressed in Blood tour, but I certainly won’t hold that against her (anymore).
Here are a few that I have really enjoyed as well, A Tale of Many Reviews, Bookalicio.us, Book Faery, I’m A Reader, Not a Writer. I am grateful for all of the support and encouragement of the many book blogs out there, I am sure there are several others that deserve recognition that I have not listed here. So here is a blanket “Thank You” to the so many wonderful bloggers!
I have really enjoyed my few months of blogging and feel that there is a lot left to learn and a few grooves to get. But these ladies are certainly three of many that have been extremely welcoming in the community and extremely helpful as I have begun my navigation through the wonderful world of book blogging. I certainly hope that you will take some time and stop by their blogs!
