Every summer, the day that our city decides to hold the annual 4th of July picnic (it’s not always actually celebrated on the 4th of July), we go a summer BBQ at our place, and invite my uncles and aunts, and all my cousins over. After that, we all carpool (take as few cars as possible) to the local Independence Day parade and fireworks show at night…we spread sheets on the grass, buy shaved ice, take a cooler full of juices and drinks…and just lounge out, and watch the fireworks together as a family! I love it…I look forward to this day, EVERY YEAR! :) Plus, since my mom and I are both teachers, summer is the only time that we get time to READ!!!! so we tend to lounge around the house and read together, and then swap books when we’re done…! 😀

Thank you for your generosity, and for being part of this Midsummer’s Eve Giveaway Hop. Hope you have lots of fun in the sun this summer! 😀
