I have loved making memories with the kids.
We have done so many great things… walks, picnics, trips to the park, zoo and waterparks!

My daughter’s 16th bday where my family came over early in the morning to re-paint her room and lowered her loft bed to regular height bed. Bought all new bedding and accessories and curtains. Then surprised her with the room and bbq later in the afternoon. Excellent day!

My friend’s birthday at Starbucks where we got a bunch of free sweets and a smore frappucino :)

Hmm.. I don’t have a ton of late summer memories, but I did always love jumping in the river/lake with my friends!

    I don’t know–I don’t really have end-of-summer memories either. I always look forward to my daughter’s back-to-school night.

This summer will definitely be memorable for our family. We had an unexpected extended stay with my parents due to hubby’s helping my dad with a new business venture and my mom’s health issues.

During this visit, our daughter had lots of fun new experiences such as going to Stonefire Pizza and Build-a-Bear.

We are also in the midst of an out-of-state move.

Sadly, my favorite end of summer memory is now my kids going back to school.

Favorite end of summer memory is having a cook out with all of our friends one last time before the kids go back to school and the cold weather moves in.
